School and Student Immersion Trips at SEGA

Hakuna matata and a warm welcome to Tanzania! Get your students ready for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Tanzania as your students experience the richness of East African culture, community, and education.

Through a 7+ day cultural immersion trip, students will stay on campus at the SEGA Girls’ School and take part in a meaningful cross-cultural exchange or service learning. Living and learning alongside SEGA students, visitors join clubs, collaborate on community projects, and build friendships that span continents. Together, students explore new perspectives while learning more about themselves and the world around them.

Along the way, the group will experience Tanzania like locals, touring the lively markets of Morogoro Town, hiking the Uluguru Mountains to Choma Waterfall, participating in cultural exchange activities, historical tours, and engaging in service opportunities that support the surrounding community. Students may also learn about initiatives such as sustainable farming, climate action, and local development efforts that strengthen communities across the region.
