What it is:
A unique adventure combining a Mount Kilimanjaro climb with fundraising for girls’ education in Tanzania.
Supports the University Scholarship Program, which provides SEGA Girls’ School graduates with the opportunity to continue their education beyond secondary school.
Who can join:
Anyone with a good level of fitness—no technical climbing experience required.
Must be committed to training and fundraising.

Dates: July 13–26, 2026
Climb Route: Machame Route (“Whiskey Route”) — scenic forests, moorlands, and alpine landscapes
Support: Kilimanjaro hike guided by Tusker Trail; SEGA visit supported by dedicated teams at SEGA and Nurturing Minds
Fundraising Requirements:
Each trekker raises a minimum of $5,000 to support scholarships
Collective goal: $150,000 to fund continuing education for SEGA graduates

*Includes: Included in all land costs are 3 night stay at the SEGA Visitor House, accommodation at Serena Hotel in Dar es Salaam, domestic flight from Julius Nyerere International Airport to Kilimanjaro International Airport, 3 meals a day, tips and gratuities for non-SEGA staff, tips and gratuities for SEGA Visitor House personnel, all off-campus tours and activities fees, train tickets, and all round-trip transportations including drivers tips.
