Benefit Concert & Dance Party

On Thursday, October 23, at 10:15 a.m., a fast-moving fire broke out at the SEGA Girls’ School in Tanzania, destroying a dorm that housed 55 students, most of them in Form 1. Thankfully, all of the girls were in class at the time and no injuries occurred. However, the dorm was completely destroyed, and the students lost all of their belongings.

During the fire, Annie was volunteering at SEGA as part of the English Fluency Program, witnessing firsthand both the devastation and the extraordinary resilience of the SEGA community. Deeply moved by the experience, Annie and Mark felt compelled to take action.

Together with The Occasionals and The Black Rock Social Club, they are proud to present a
Benefit Concert & Dance Party in Support of SEGA Girls’ School.

All proceeds from the evening will go directly toward rebuilding the dorm and strengthening fire readiness and safety measures on campus to help prevent future incidents.
