What to Expect:
Decorating - We will be decorating two sets of cupcakes during the class.
A Little Homework - Prior to your class, you will receive the recipes and a shopping list so you're ready to jump right in.
Hands-on Learning - Decorate along with Rukia - this virtual class is just like being there (minus the commute).
Recording - You do not need to decorate along with Rukia during the class. After the event, all participants will receive a link to a recording to be viewed at any time.

Rukia Marijani Mchumo, PhD
Board Member, Nurturing Minds
Rukia was born and raised in Tanzania where she attained her primary, secondary and A level education before moving to the USA to attend college. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and immediately after enrolled at Florida A&M University where she attained her Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Rukia currently works as a Pharmacologist at the United States Food and Drug Administration. Rukia loves to help and inspire youngsters, especially girls. While in Graduate school, she led a successful fundraiser for Kasisa girls in Mwanza, Tanzania who lacked personal hygiene supplies that caused them to miss school. Rukia is passionate about education and will always lend a hand whenever and wherever she can make a difference.
