Thursday, January 21, 2021
7:00 pm ET on Zoom

Sarah will talk about her 5 trips to SEGA that took place over the last 10 years starting with the very first day of school back in 2008. The purpose of these trips was to tell the story of the school through photographs and videos to use for both promotion and fundraising. She will share stories, show photographs and discuss the process that she uses to create the final videos. Please come join Sarah and hear all about the story of the SEGA Girls’ School through the eyes of a professional photographer and find out what it takes to make a professional fundraising video.

About Sarah:

Sarah Bones saved for her first 35mm camera at age 13, in 1969. She was soon hitchhiking into Philadelphia so she could photograph the lives and circumstances of people living on the street. As a professional photographer and director, her passion in documenting people in need continued and has carried her across the world and locally, into prisons, homeless shelters and the political arena. She joined the collective group Photographers for Hope in 2011 and is a longtime member of both ASSMP and the NPPA.
